We are currently seeking a Technical Consultant (multiple positions) with full-stack Python development experience to join our team in Austin. In this role you will work in a collaborative, agile environment to drive requirements of our Financial Institution customers, and develop extensions/customizations on one of the industry-leading SaaS platforms. This includes building web pages, building back end components, interacting with 3rd party APIs through this platform, and reading/writing to our product database.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

Must have the following in order to be considered:

· 5+ years of application development experience (Java/Python & Angular background ideal) and a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree; (3+ years of experience and a Masters in Computer Science or equivalent degree)

· High proficiency in native Python development (not Django) and SQL is a must

· 2+ years of experience with API services is a must

· REST services development using Python is a must

Additional Technical Requirements

· Experience with web development using HTML5, Angular JS, React JS is highly desirable

· Knowledge and passion for good design principles while balancing customer deadlines

· Experience with developing software in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

· Strong understanding of development best practices and agile SDLC processes

· Experience contributing in an Agile development environment

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Other Required Skills

· Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and with confidence

· Demonstrates consulting skills such as listening, exploring requirements and ideas by asking insightful questions, building consensus and ability to influence outcomes

· Experienced in discussing requirements with customers, and pressing further when clarifications are necessary

· Occasional availability for on-call/emergency support

· Ability to work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines and off-hours installations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Define and understand client use cases, business requirements and technical specifications

· Design product extensions that leverage client’s cloud-based SaaS platform

· Develop estimates to implement and unit test back end components

· Implement and unit test front end user-interfaces and web pages

· Support internal and external testing as well as resolve bugs in a timely manner

· Deploy code to customer environments

· Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

· Work collaboratively with others

· Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity comprised of Windows- and Linux-based front-end and back-end components that interact with end users and integrate with internal and external services

· Work individually and collaboratively to deliver solutions in live production systems

· Support, maintain, and resolve problems for custom features in live production systems, with occasional on-call availability

· Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to

· Accurately track and report time spent on customer projects

· Accurately track and report status of your work on customer projects

· Assist and mentor teammates to provide technical leadership and evangelize best practices

The Role:

Incrementom is interested in hiring a senior backend developer to work on our customer’s AI-based Enterprise SaaS solutions. The successful candidate should have a solid background in developing microservices using Go and Python for deployment in Kubernetes environments. Experience with GraphQL gateways is a must. Experience with multiple API design styles such as gRPC, GraphQL and REST. Experience with SQL RDBMS like MariaDB and No-SQL data stores such as Redis. S/he should have experience in working in Agile based projects and should be able to work in a fast paced and result oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to the following:

· Backend development using Go and/or Python

· Low level design of the APIs and microservices to be built.

· Write tests for the APIs built.

· Get his/her code reviewed with their leads.

· Give demos to the QA team and resolve all bugs reported.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

· 3+ years’ experience in IT

· Excellent knowledge of microservice architectures in the Kubernetes environment.

· Deep experience with both Go and Python

· Solid experience with GraphQL

· Experience with multiple alternative microservice design styles such as gRPC and REST.

· Good knowledge of SQL, Linux.

· Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.

· Experience in developing cloud applications preferred.

· Experience developing SaaS products preferred.

· Experience working on agile projects and understanding of agile concepts

· Experience using Atlassian products like Jira is preferred

· Ability to work and achieve stretch goals in a very innovative and fast paced environment.

· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical communications

· Strong inter-personal skills and a desire to work collaboratively

Information Security Responsibilities

· Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of

organizational data and Information System.

· Take part in Information Security training and act accordingly while handling information.

· Report all suspected security and policy breach to Infosec team or appropriate authority (CISO).
